Safety at motoUP !

Race wear requisitions

safety is our prime concern!

All competotors need to be wearing undamaged leathers, one-piece racing overalls or zipped combi-overalls, an approved and undamaged helmet, boots and gloves with protection, and absolute compulsory with all our testing events,

a backprotector.

With gloves, please take care that these

cover the leater sleeves for about 5 cms.

Riders are being random checked by our staff before taking off to the track.

Safety = priority

In all events and all cases, the safety of the competitors and staff

is of prime interest.

As organization we make sure to have the following safety precautions like ambulance(s) with staff, (a) doctor(s) with staff,

a trackmanager with experienced trackmarshalls equipped with radios, flags, extinghuishers, and track cleaning materials and

a recovery vehicle to pick up damaged bikes.

Riders are admitted to the track in small groups, with enough space between to secure a nice and steady warm-up lap.

In case of a session being red flagged, all riders need to slow down and finish their lap swift and smoothly into the pitlane.

Riders may never stop on the track at an accident, even if it is a friend or companion who is involved.

Compulsory!

backprotector

Testing is re-opened when the amulance and recovery vehicle

are back in the paddock and are standby again.

Our objective is to re-start the testing as soon as possible.

Behaviour

Unfortunately, crashing is inherent

to motorcycle racing.

During events, the rider must not endanger other participants through his or her actions.

Bikes must be ridden at a walking pace throughout the entire paddock and box area.

It is strictly forbidden to stop on the track, for whatever reason. Training sessions often involve riders of different speed and abilities, so all riders must be attentive at all times and show consideration for others.

Please consider each other at the paddock, and do not make loud noises after 10.00 pm and before 08.00 am.

The paddock is not a nightclub.
